Bonawe Quarry:- Out-of-hours working

Scotland Transerv re-scheduling of work involving out-of-hours working at Bonawe Quarry.

A meeting is scheduled to be held in advance of the works commencing, between out community council and Breedon, to discuss additional mitigation measures proposed by the quarry operators.

We will post details of the outcome of this meeting prior to works commencing, and for information purposes the dates referred to are noted below.

Our community council offer our full support to this request to ensure the sustainability of the Bonawe works, which we see as an important asset to Ardchattan and Argyll generally.

Email from Breedon to A&BC Planning authority:-

We have a further request from Scotland Transerv for supply and lay surfacing works out with our consented hours. Accordingly I respectively request a temporary extension to our current working hours. As previously this would be up to 1.00am and is for the following dates.

Sunday 2^nd October to Thursday 6^th October.
Sunday 9^th October to Wednesday 12^th October.
Sunday 23^rd October to Thursday 27^th October.
Sunday 30^th October to Thursday 3^rd November.

The Community Council will be kept informed of our proposals and any comments and suggestions they have will be taken into consideration.
