Welcome to the Jed Valley Community Council website
The purpose of a Community Council is to ascertain and express the views of the community which it represents to the Local Authority and other public bodies in relation to matters that these authorities are responsible for.
It may take action in the interests of the community as appears to be practicable and expedient.
The Jed Valley Community Council holds bi-monthly meetings alternating between Edgerston Village Hall and Glen Douglas Community Hall. Details of venues and dates can be seen on the calendar section.
The minutes of our meetings can be viewed in the meeting minutes section. There will be a small delay in their publication relative to any meeting date.
The Jed Valley Community Council welcomes members of the public who wish to attend our meetings. Please use the feedback link should there be any concerns you wish the Community Council to be aware of. Unless you request otherwise your personal details will not be stored on any electronic or paper retreival system except to answer your concern(s).
