SURF Annual Awards 2020 for Best Practice in Community Regeneration: Scotland’s Regeneration Forum is open for nominations.
SURF’s Annual Awards process is delivered in partnership with the Scottish Government. These awards are open to all community regeneration projects in Scotland that are either currently in place or that have been completed within two years of the closing date.
The purpose of the SURF Awards is to:
- recognise and reward best practice and innovation in community regeneration;
- promote and disseminate best practice across Scotland as a means of sharing knowledge and experience, thereby enhancing future policy and practice;
- highlight the role that regeneration projects have in improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities.
The 2020 SURF Awards will have a particular focus this year, where relevant, on the ability of projects to adapt to deliver new services to support their communities through the Covid-19 crisis with nominations being sought for the following categories:
- Community Led Regeneration
- Housing and Regeneration
- Creative Regeneration
- Supporting Youth Employability
- Scotland’s Most Improved Place
The application period closes on 7 September 2020 at 5.00pm.
