Torvean Tunnel Exhibition
The Torvean Tunnel Exhibition is available from 31st January 2014 at 113 Academy Street, Inverness. This is the former Blythswood shop at the bottom end of Academy Street.
This exhibition explains an alternative solution to the West Link over the River Ness and the Caledonian Canal, and how a 'cut and fill' tunnel has not been costed by The Highland Council. Photographs show the route of the tunnel with explanations.
You are encouraged to drop in and see the issues for yourself.
The lead campaigner is Brian MacGregor, a member of Westhill Community Council, who can be contacted on 07740 082234.
This exhibition is now closed after The Highland Council Planning Committee assented to The Highland Council's own proposal for the West Link.
