"What a great performance by everyone, thoroughly enjoyed the show, excellent! Why would anyone need to travel to Liverpool or Llandudno to a panto when such talent is on display in Gwernymynydd. Hope you all enjoyed being the stars of the show as much as the audience obviously enjoyed watching you and participating!! Thank you for such a memorable evening!"  Wyn R.

Summary of Accounts: Snow White 2012

We started the year with £903.26 carried over from our first panto Cinderella.
We had total donations to funds of £320 and advertising revenue of £240.
We also had many donations of raffle prizes and our thanks go to all who contributed  items, the amount raised being £253.
This years panto Snow White produced receipts of £2950.89 and production expenditure of £1705.25 resulting in a healthy surplus of £1245.74.
As already mentioned this surplus enabled the group to contribute  the sum of £1000.00  towards the cost of the lighting bar and sound control system, the remainder of the cost being met by the village centre management.
Overall this leaves us with a combined surplus of £1148.90 towards  our next production of Aladdin.
It is our intention to meet the cost of 12 theatre lights to complete the installation from next years budget, 8 lights having been purchased and installed to date.
We had lots of support from established theatre groups in Northop and Buckley who assisted with costumes & scenery and the Argoed School who provided the raised seating area, and Richard Penhaligon of locally based Penhaligon Event Consultants for backcloths & supports, and this enabled us to keep production costs down.
Our thanks go to the many volunteers and others who gave their time and expertise to again produce another production to be proud of.
Detailed accounts are available for inspection on request.
