Alicia Basnett, six, with her uncle, Craftsman Thomas Rosedale, both of Gwernymynydd. At the time of the photograph Thomas was serving with 119 Recovery Unit of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Rev.Mary Brotherston of Mold with Karl Jackson of Blaen Wern who laid the wreath. Karl is a former army sergeant in the First Kings Own Borderers. He served in the latter day conflicts in Aden and Northern Ireland.
