Glenboggin pipped by Manchester

by Unknown - 15:14 on 30 January 2007
Glenboggin officials were today crushed to find we'd narrowly failed in our bid to host the UK's first Super Casino. Although Blackpool, Greenwich and Govan had been widely tipped as the favourites, insiders knew that the decision was really always only between the top two applicants, Manchester and Glenboggin.

Applicants had to present a case based around 10 criteria, and in the end the advisory board felt that although the choice was extremely difficult, Manchester narrowly came out on top in the following areas:-

  1. Population
  2. Climate
  3. Profile
  4. Accessibility
  5. Sexiness
  6. Location
  7. Transport Links
  8. Infrastructure
  9. Communications
  10. Hotel Accommodation (edited by Dougie - 30/1/07)
