Glenboggin Heatwave

by Unknown - 10:07 on 13 June 2006
June in Glenboggin is well known for being February, bit not this year, oh no. In fact an executive committee of the cooncil have decided that the village should be referred to as 'Sunny Glenboggin' from now on, as for the first time in living memory the mists of Fetterannie have cleared before the middle of July!

Temperatures have reached a heady 69°F here in the Glen, and at one point on Sunday the midges settled for half an hour and it was safe for Ellie to put on her Mary Quant bikini.
