Whalebone stop off on their Spring Tour for an evening of rootsy, folky, funky acoustic music, showcasing some of the brightest talents on the music scene. Whalebone’s music is a marriage of folk music and classic guitar rock played on acoustic guitars and fiddle, combining upfront spellbinding musicianship, infectious driving rhythms and exuberant presentation. The trio’s performances feature fiery and emotive original material, supercharged renditions of traditional music and wild re-workings of rock guitar classics played with dazzling virtuosity.
‘Whalebone completely and utterly captivate with their passion and sheer musicianship...’ Katy Jay ‘...it’s got that edge, that passion... it’s a musical manifesto.’ FATEA ‘Impeccable musicianship...well crafted arrangements...’ Brian Gullard ‘blistering... hugely enjoyable...’ Jazz Mann
