Welcome to Creich Community Council.
The Council represents people living within the communities of Bonar Bridge, Invershin, Rosehall and Spinningdale in the county of Sutherland in the North Highlands of Scotland.
We aim to promote the well-being of the residents of Creich by ascertaining, co-ordinating and expressing their views to local and public authorities on matters which those authorities are responsible for. These include Highland Council TEC Services, planning applications, health, education and youth development.
We are non-party political and actively encourage the involvement of everyone in the community.
If you have a question or cause for the Council, we would like to hear from you.

MEALL BUIDHE WIND FARM
Pre-application consultation is to be undertaken in advance of a planning application to Highland Council for a prospective wind farm (and associated infrastructure) on land at Croick Estate, approximately 4km southwest of Rosehall and 12km west of Ardgay.
Following earlier public exhibitions in Rosehall, Ardgay and Lochinver, details of the proposed wind farm access route will be available to be downloaded and viewed online at the following website: www.meallbuidhewindfarm.co.uk from 13th May 2020.
The following week an online public consultation event will be held on the same website on 20th May 2020 between the hours of 14:30 and 19:30. During this online event, members of the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to a member of the development team using live chat. There will also be an opportunity for members of the public to request a telephone call back to discuss the prospective wind farm at a later date (before the 10th June 2020).
Any persons wishing to submit comments on the prospective development should submit these to the applicant during the online public consultation, or by using the online contact form on the wind farm website (above), or by post to the following address by 10th June 2020:
Meall Buidhe Renewables LLP
Comments made to the applicant are not representations to Highland Council. Following the submission of the planning application, there will be an opportunity to make representations to Highland Council.
In the meantime, if you have any questions in relation to the pre-application consultation process, please contact Angus Elder via e-mail: email@example.com or by phone: 07733267201.
