COMMUNITY TRANSPORT FEASIBILITY MEETING:

Wednesday 22nd JULY

The joint Community Councils of Strathpeffer, Marybank and Contin, with the Garve & District Development Trust, are working together to find a solution to our loss of a regular bus service.

We have contracted transport consultant Derek Halden to develop a range of feasible community-based transport options.  He has set up an online survey, and spoken to many local people by phone, and produced a comprehensive draft report.

We will be discussing the report's options at public meetings on Wednesday 22nd July – and everyone and anyone is encouraged to come along to hear the proposals, and to ask questions and discuss the options.

The meetings will be on Wednesday 22nd July at:

CONTIN: Football Ground & Clubhouse (Munro Park) 2pm – 4pm

STRATHPEFFER: Football Pitch (behind the Primary School) 5:30pm – 6:30pm

The discussions will be Covid-compliant, and will be held outdoors under a gazebo with chairs available.  Please dress for the weather – we won’t be indoors.

See here for more information.

Anyone & everyone from the Contin, Garve, Strathpeffer or Marybank areas is welcome at either of these sessions.  See you there!
