2010 visit
My Husband Gordon Anderson is a direct Anderson Decendant of the Anderson Towers who had the old Greenloaning Inn for years during the 18th century. We visited last year from New Zealand and had a wonderful time looking around Greenloaning and Braco. The daffodils were in flower and made a real show along the roadside. We were really impressed at the pride you all have in your quaint Scottish villages. We also went to Langside where my husband grandmother (King family ) lived before they came to New Zealand. We travelled through several countries but Scotland was our favourite. Congratulations on the way you preserve your history, your friendly manner and your love of a beautiful country.
If anyone in your area had any history to share on these families , old photos etc we would really appreciate. Very happy to pay any expenses.

I was reading Braco Community Council minutes and spotted your comment about Langside. We are now the happy residents there and already have met several King descendants, the latest being Neil Cuthbert (born Mathew King 16/5/71). We run a B&B as Mrs Sinclair did, but with electricity now! Feel free to keep in touch.

Hi Heather we came through Langside while you were doing it up. We have fabulous memories of this. Our daughter is a painter and painted this for her wall here in NZ
