Glasgow City Council is working with the Scottish Government to promote Help to Adapt, which is a new pilot aimed at helping older people to live independently at home for longer.
Help to Adapt will be of interest to homeowners who are considering making alterations to their homes to ensure it continues to meet future needs. The scheme allows homeowners over the age of 60 to fund the adaptations using equity in their home to secure a loan from the Scottish Government. Hep to Adapt provides a personalised service which aims to deliver peace of mind for homeowners. It removes the stress of having to organise the installation of adaptations and offers assistance to manage the process every step of the way.
