WCC is in abeyance till May 2014
Following the resignation of Neil Hornsby on 13/2/2014, WCC is non-quorate and cannot meet until the vacancy is filled up.
At present there are five elected community councillors and WCC is permitted to have 12 elected community councillors.
Those living in Westhill Community Council, above 16 years old and on the electoral roll, are encouraged to put their name forward for election.
The Highland Council expects to hold a postal ballot towards the end of April 2014 to fill up the vacancy in elected community councillors.
