New Edinburgh Road As a resident in one of the houses, I am keen to find out some of the history about the West (or 'Ice Cream') Cottages located on New Edinburgh Road opposite Livingstone's Garage. If anyone knows where I can find out about these I would be intersted to hear from you. Posted by FRASER BELL on 12 October 2009 old postcard? I am searching for an old postcard of the large church in the main St, uddingston. It was taken approx 1925...1930??? It has one person in the picture, a lady, she was my Great Great Aunt Mary... My mother had a copy when she was younger but gave it to her school teacher in the late 30's/early 40's as part of a collage of local views and never got it back! If anyone has a copy they would be prepared to part with (I'll pay for it of course) or knows where I can obtain one, or even can emeail me a picture... I'd be most gratefull. Sorry the details are a wee bit sketchy, but memories of exact dates etc are failing! Thanking readers in advance for any possible help.
