Consultation on the Draft Wales Waste Strategy

The Welsh Assembly Government’s consultation on the Draft Wales Waste Strategy - 'Towards Zero Waste' - will be launched on the 29th of April and will be available at  www.wales.gov.uk/consultations(under Environment and Countryside) from that date. The policies and actions that it proposes, will have implications and be of relevance to all businesses and organisations working within Wales.
 
Consultation is an integral part of the process of developing the new Waste Strategy as it our opportunity to hear your views on our proposals.  Following this consultation the Assembly Government will consider fully the responses it has received and will take them into account before publishing the final version of the strategy, which will replace Wise About Waste.
 
As part of the consultation process the Welsh Assembly Government is organising three consultation events on the draft Wales Waste Strategy to be held on the dates above.
 
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  Further details, including the venue, directions and an agenda will follow.  If you would like to participate in one of these events please complete the accompanying form and return to Kate Reed kate.reed@environment-agency.wales.gov.uk by the following dates:
 
Response dates:    Swansea – 29th April
                               Aberystwyth – 6th May
