Alasdair Allan MSP and Angus Brendan Macneil MP have both recently written to Pairc CC as follows:

"I am writing to ask if there are any issues your Community Council would like me to take up on your behalf, or whether it would be helpful for me just to  come along to one of your meetings. I am keen to stay in touch with those involved in community councils, who have a better idea than most about the problems and issues facing the different parts of the islands, and am happy to be of any help I can.
If you would like me to attend a forthcoming meeting or have any issues you would like me to take up I would be grateful if you could contact me and I am happy to be of any assistance possible.
"

Alasdair Allan MSP

and:

I am mindful of the fact that Community Councils undertake a great deal of work and are instrumental in identifying the needs and aspirations within our local communities.
If your Community Council feels that either myself or Alasdair Allan MSP, can carry forward any matters relating to your area, the Western Isles, or beyond, we would certainly be pleased to assist in any way we can.
If you would like to meet with Alasdair or I, please contact the constituency office, to arrange a mutually suitable date.

Angus Brendan MacNeil MP

In response Pairc CC have suggested that both representatives attend a public meeting after the summer recess, hopefully to be held in October.  The date will be notified in "Agenda" once we hear back.
