He returned to Glasgow in the 1940s but did make occasional return visits, including at least one wedding, to Kiltarlity. I met a Mary Fraser when I visited Kiltarlity in 1997, who kindly allowed me to copy a photo of a family wedding in which my father was pictured, but unfortunately this copy was lost in a later house move. Any information from anyone who can remember my father would be appreciated. Posted by Gerry Waugh on 15 December 2008 Robert Waugh 1928-1988 I am seeking any information on my late father, Robert Waugh, who spent his early life "farmed out" (fostered)with the Fraser family in Kiltarlity and I know attended the primary school in the early 1930s. He moved back to Glasgow, his birthplace, some time in the 1940s, although I don't know exactly when. He had two brothers, Bill and Alec, who I believe also grew up in this area, but I am not certain. I did visit Kiltarlity once, in 1997 and met a Mary Fraser who gave me a copy of a photograph of Hugh Fraser's wedding, with my father in the photo, which was unfortunately lost during a house move. Any information from anyone who knew of or remembers my father would be greatly appreciated.
