CHAIR & PLANNING REPORT.
The Councillors took no part in this discussion.
1 ASDA. The decision is out at last (from Feb) about the supermarket at Slackbuie.  They have granted outline permission hoping to submit a full application soon.

2 LIDLPlanning application has been submitted for the land north of Inshes school. There appears to be no problems & most of the community appears in favour.

3.HIGHLAND HOUSING FAIR 2 applications only minor changes, no objections. We hope to have more detail at our Sept meeting when Highland Housing officials will be speaking to us.

4.CULDUTHEL FARM ESTATE Remix of house types , no objections

E-planning is being introduced but at present is having teething problems. The new legislation re consultation before submitting plans is working well in some cases but others seem to be less helpful.

SECRETARY REPORT & CORRESPONDENCE.
1.The Chair & I attended a meeting about the Amenity Land at Slackbuie. The site is a sloping but part will be levelled to make a kick about pitch. We suggested seats for parents which hopefully will be included, the remainder will be grassed. This has been costed & is in the council’s budget. The area near the Gaelic School ( Lochardil Area) should be parkland but a Gaelic Centre wishes to build on a small area of the site, the remainder to be a park, plan & costings to come.

2.The Chair & I attended the official opening of Inshes School

Correspondence:

 1. Notice for nomination for quality awards.  The man on the Refuse Lorry was suggested.
2 Letter from the Energy Saving Trust

SOCIAL COMMITTEE REPORT.
Liz Gilchrist has been in touch with Inshes Church and it is hoped to have entertainment and afternoon tea for the Senior Citizens of our area 3-5-30pm Fri Dec 4th. Ways of finding & inviting the guests was discussed. An application for help with the funding will be submitted to the Ward Manager.

A.O.C.B.
 1. The ongoing problem with factors, Green belt, Milton of Leys. Richard Hartland (Planning) is trying to get Tullochs to enforce Greenbelt to fulfil it’s contract. The Councillors have very limited power in the matter, only trying to encourage Tulloch to act against Greenbelt. The Councillors are only too well aware of the problems & will continue to try & find a resolution.
 2. Peveral, Factor for many other Estates, although not such a problem as Greenbelt, presents most bizarre costings & bills.
 3. Inshes Roundabout. The pedestrian lights (police station to Tesco) seem to favour the pedestrians leaving long queues of traffic Secretary to contact Shane Manning ( in charge of timing)
 4. Daffodil Bulbs last year were gratefully received but rather late in the year, now is the time to order if we are to receive the generous gift.
 5. The Wild Flower Roundabouts have been a disaster this year after such a lovely display last.

The Meeting closed at 9-15pm.
Coffee & Tea were served, a moment to chat
