Posted by Carney on 21 October 2008  Southern Distributor Road I am sure that your Community Council is well aware that plans are in progress to upgrade the SDR to a trunk link road to a by-pass road. This will entail the removal of most of the existing roundabouts, will cause total disruption to the community with a heavy volume of traffic been driven through it creating noise and fumes.This will also affect the four schools in the vicinity of the road,fragment the residential areas and will be a blight on the community in the years ahead. There is also the possibility of this road being upgraded to dual carriageway. I trust that you are up to speed with all that is happening and that your Community Council will do the very best to protect the quality of life for all thos living within the vicinity of the SDR. I am sick of having to park on the road because it is 'quicker' for residents of other flats to park in my space!
One guy has 2 vans and an untaxed car in our carpark.
