Fillongley entry into Warwickshire Best Village Competition 2009

Fillongley has entered and judging is taking place in June.

The awards will be presented on the evening of Tuesday 14th July 2009 at Shire Hall in Warwick.

House Building in Warwickshire

The attached (click here) has been published by the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England.

This represents their view on proposals for house building in Warwickshire - and provides information on how to comment on possible proposals for adding 20-40,000 extra homes in Warwickshire.

North Arden Heritage Trail

Funded by the National Lottery, The North Arden Heritage Trail is a project being delivered by the North Warwickshire Community Partnership. This ambitious three-year project will be working with local communities to establish a 25 mile circular heritage trail in North Warwickshire.

The North Arden Heritage Trail is funded for three years through a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the support of the Community Partnership and Parish Councils.

Where does the trail go?

The proposed route of the trail passes through the parishes of Atherstone, Mancetter, Hartshill, Ansley, Arley, Astley, Fillongley, Maxstoke, Shustoke, Nether Whitacre, Kingsbury, Dordon, Baddesley Ensor and Merevale.
