In spite of all the warnings on the approaches to Connel Bridge, yet another vehicle has smashed into the structure this morning. The bridge has been quite badly damaged and has been closed for the last three hours. (Now 1.30 pm) It seems likely that a Bridge Engineer will need to carry out a full inspection before it can be re-opened.  Locals and tourists have been badly affected, and have had to make huge detours to their destinations. Who did this?!
