The GRAB Trust have sent the Community Council a grant of £505 following the successful Clean-up held on 18 April. The grant has been distributed to the following village organisations:-

First Connel Brownies    £135

First Connel Rainbows   £135

Connel Millenium Sportsfied Association   £135

Connel Village Christmas Party     £100

Around 50 people took part and filled approximately 50 bags of rubbish.
