18 people attended a meeting in Connel Hall last night to discuss the Argyll & Bute Local Development Plan.

When asked to rank the top 5 issues in our area Infrastructure (Roads, water, sewerage etc.) came out first, closely followed by the Natural Environment. Business/Employment came next with Tourism and Affordable Housing in 4th and 5th places.

Renewable Energy,Transport, Built Heritage, Community Facilities all got a few votes.

Under "Other", Sheltered Housing for elderly village residents would be welcomed and better, faster Broadband was also popular.

The Community Council will complete a Questionnaire and reurn it to Argyll & Bute Council before the 31 March deadline.
