This summer, Aberfeldy Community Council are looking to hold a garden competition, aimed especially at promoting wildlife & biodiversity within the town. It is running a bit later than we would like it to be, with judging in September, but we want to encourage as many people as possible to enter and we can see what the interest is. There will be £100/ £50/ £25 prizes for both large and small gardens, which can include patio and container type gardens. The prizes will be in the form of garden centre vouchers.
If it works well, we would like to roll it over from year to year. We would encourage younger people in particular to enter. Please email your name and address to aberfeldycc@hotmail.com or PM Victor Clements or Elaine Fraser Murdoch via Facebook asap, but certainly before 15th September.
