The major topic at the October Community Council meeting was discussion of our response to the latest episode in the ongoing process of the School Estates review which started back in 2016.  The future of Pitlochry High School was included in Phase 2 of that process.  Recommendations for a working party to further look at the options went to the Lifelong Learning Committee on September 4th.  An amendment to the terms of reference to the working party was put forward on that occasion and it is those terms of reference that are causing concern about the possible impact on Breadalbane Academy.  This resulted in a special meeting at the Campus on September 30th and the topic being raised and hotly debated at the ACC meeting.  An expression of concern is to be drafted and sent to the Highland Ward Councillors and other interested parties.
